This Cancellation Policy explains how clients may cancel website development, hosting, maintenance, support, and other services provided by Misao Web Solutions.
1. Project Cancellation
Clients may request cancellation of a website development or custom web project by providing written notice.
The cancellation request should include sufficient information to identify the relevant project or service.
Once a cancellation request is received, we will review the current status of the project and any outstanding obligations.
2. Work Completed Before Cancellation
If a project is cancelled after work has started, the client may be responsible for payment for work completed before the cancellation date.
This may include:
-
Consultation and planning
-
Website design
-
Development work
-
Custom features
-
Testing
-
Content integration
-
Technical configuration
-
Third-party setup
Payments already made for completed work may not be refundable.
3. Outstanding Payments
Cancellation of a project does not automatically cancel payment obligations for work already completed.
Any outstanding invoices relating to completed work, agreed milestones, third-party services, or other approved costs may remain payable.
4. Hosting Cancellation
Clients may request cancellation of hosting services according to the applicable hosting plan or service agreement.
Upon cancellation:
-
The hosting service may remain active until the end of the paid service period unless otherwise agreed.
-
Renewal charges may stop after the applicable service period.
-
Website files, databases, and other hosted content may be removed after service termination.
Clients are strongly encouraged to request and download their website files and data before hosting services end.
5. Maintenance Plan Cancellation
Maintenance and support services may be cancelled by providing reasonable notice before the next billing period.
Services already provided during a paid service period may not be refundable.
Any additional development work, support requests, or services completed outside the maintenance plan may remain payable.
6. Domain and Third-Party Services
Domain names, software licenses, plugins, themes, and third-party subscriptions may be subject to separate cancellation and renewal policies.
Misao Web Solutions cannot guarantee cancellation or refunds for services operated by third-party providers.
Clients may remain responsible for any charges already incurred.
7. Data After Cancellation
After the cancellation or termination of hosting or technical services, clients are responsible for obtaining copies of their website files, databases, and other important data.
Misao Web Solutions may retain or delete project and hosting data according to our internal procedures, service agreements, backup policies, and applicable legal requirements.
We recommend that clients maintain independent backups of important data.
